- Exit the M90 at junction 2 onto the A823.
- Turn right at the roundabout and follow signs for Dunfermline Town Centre.
- Continue on A823 through 2 roundabouts and turn right at traffic lights onto the B916, Aberdour Road ("Cottage Inn" pub on corner).
- The hotel is situated half a mile on the right.

From the North M90 and Kirkcaldy A92:

- Exit motorway at junction 3 and follow signs for Dunfermline Town Centre.
- Continue through 3 roundabouts, passing Lauder College and Asda.
- Turn left at traffic lights onto Linburn Road.
- Continue over 2 roundabouts and at the 3rd roundabout turn right along Aberdour Road. The hotel is situated one mile on the left.
