23rd December Upon arrival enjoy a Dorset cream tea served in our lounge and bar. Join the General Manager and his team for the welcome champagne cocktail and canap?reception followed by a three-course candlelit dinner. Then enjoy a flutter at our fun race night. Christmas Eve Enjoy full English breakfast and a leisurely morning. Take advantage of our superb facilities in the Waves Health club. Take an afternoon stroll in the fresh sea air or do some last minute Christmas shopping. In the afternoon take part in our Biq Quiz. Entertainment from a local choir. Three course candlelit dinner with entertainment by superb table magician. Mince pies, coffee and hot chocolate available for those returning from Midnight Mass. Christmas Day Enjoy a celebratory glass of bucks fizz with your traditional English breakfast. Christmas day luncheon, served in Fredrick's Restaurant, accompanied by our resident pianist. Visit from Father Christmas. Afternoon tea and Christmas cake will be served in the lounge during the Queen?s speech followed by an opportunity to enjoy a host of board games. In the evening there will be a light buffet supper followed by a game of bingo for all to enjoy. Boxing Day Enjoy a full English breakfast and a leisurely morning. Laser Clay Pigeon shooting will take place in the grounds. As an optional extra, we will be arranging a trip to Christmas Pantomime. To avoid disappointment reserve your tickets at the time of booking directly with the hotel. Tickets are available from ?18.00. Hot and cold buffet lunch will be served in Fredrick?s Restaurant. Four-course Gala dinner served in Fredrick?s Restaurant followed by our festive awards then dancing in the Meyrick Suite in to the early hours. On Sundays, Menzies Mickleover Court serves a traditional Sunday lunch.
From south and west: Leave m6 at j15 or m1 at j24, and take a50 towards Derby. Leave at j5 and follow a516 to Derby. Take the exit signed for Mickleover. The hotel is on the left before the roundabout. From north: Leave m1, j28 for a38 to Derby. Stay on a38 for about 20 minutes. Take a516 for Uttoxeter. After a short distance, take the sign for Mickleover and the hotel is on the right. Derby Rail Station is 20 minutes by car.
