Tongridge itself boasts a historic 11th century castle standing on the banks of the River Medway, with a new swimming pool and leisure centre, just a short walk from the hotel. The heart of Kent has a rich historical heritage and a wealth of tourist attractions, Knowle House, Chartwell, Sissinghurst and Hever Castles are all nearby, as is the Hop Farm Country Park, and several golf courses. You could even take a day trip to France.
